I will audit your ga4 setup and fix broken campaign tracking
About this Gig
If "Direct" is more than 40% of your traffic, your tracking is broken, and every budget decision you're making from that data is wrong.
Most GA4 accounts leak. Campaigns go out untagged, conversions fire twice or not at all, bot traffic inflates sessions, and paid channels get credited to Direct. You end up cutting the channel that was actually working.
What you get:
- Full GA4 property audit against a 20-point checklist
- Attribution review where your traffic is really coming from
- Conversion and key event validation
- Bot and internal traffic check
- UTM tagging audit plus a naming convention your team can follow
- A written report: what's broken, why it matters, what to fix first
Standard and Premium include implementing the fixes, not just listing them.
Why me:
MBA in Digital Marketing. GA4 and Google Ads certified. My portfolio includes a live audit of a real GA4 e-commerce account where 55% of sessions turned out to be misattributed.
You'll get a report your developer or agency can action directly, no vague "consider reviewing your setup" filler.
Message me your situation first, and I'll tell you if an audit is even worth it.
FAQ
What access do you need?
Viewer access to GA4 for the audit. If you order Standard or Premium, I'll need Editor access to implement fixes and, if you use it, Google Tag Manager access.
Will this affect my historical data?
No. Fixes apply going forward — GA4 can't retroactively correct past attribution. That's exactly why it's worth fixing sooner rather than later.
My Direct traffic is huge. Is that definitely a problem?
Usually, genuine direct traffic engages well because it's from loyal visitors. Direct traffic with low engagement is almost always untagged campaigns or bots. The audit tells you which you have.
Do you work with Shopify / WordPress / Webflow?
Yes, all of them, plus custom sites using GTM.
Can you set up e-commerce tracking?
Basic key events, yes, in Premium. Full e-commerce purchase tracking usually requires developer work on your site.
