I upgrade and migrate legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET (.NET 10 LTS) and ASP.NET Core, and I keep your business logic working.
What I do:
- Review your code and list the risks before changing anything
- Move .NET Framework apps (MVC, Web API) to ASP.NET Core
- Upgrade .NET 6, 7, 8, and 9 apps to .NET 10
- Move Entity Framework 6 to EF Core, and update NuGet packages, config, and authentication
- Keep your SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL database working
- Add Docker and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) if you need it
How I work: I use a separate branch in your repo, test the main features, and send clear migration notes. Your current version stays live until you approve the new one.

Which versions can you migrate from?
Apps on .NET Framework 4.x (MVC, Web API) and on .NET Core 3.1 or .NET 5 to 9. The target is .NET 10 LTS. If your stack is unusual, send me the details first and I will confirm.
Can you migrate ASP.NET WebForms?
WebForms has no direct path to ASP.NET Core. The UI has to be rebuilt (Razor Pages, MVC, or Angular). That is a bigger project, so please message me first and I will send a custom offer.
Will my live app stop working?
No. I work on a separate branch. Your current version keeps running until you test and approve the new one.
How do you access my code?
Through your Git repo (GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket) with a branch and pull request. A zip file also works. Please use a dev copy, and do not share production passwords.
Will you change my database?
Not unless it is needed for compatibility. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL work with EF Core or Dapper. Any schema improvements are optional and quoted separately.
Do you guarantee no bugs or faster speed?
No. No migration is risk-free, and I do not promise speed gains. I compare behavior before and after, test the main flows, and fix issues found within the agreed scope.
What is not included?
UI redesign, new features, WebForms rewrites, hosting costs, and paid third-party licenses. I am happy to quote extra work separately.
What do you need to start?
Repo access or a zip, your current .NET version, the target version, how the app is hosted today (IIS, Azure, Linux), and any known problems or old libraries.
Can you deploy the migrated app?
Premium includes a staging deployment with Docker and a CI/CD pipeline. For production go-live, I work with your team so you stay in control.
Do you offer support after delivery?
Premium includes 14 days of bug fixes on the migrated code. Ongoing maintenance or new features can follow as a separate order.
