Can we talk about my project in person first?
Of course! If you prefer a quick 5-minute chat, just let me know, and I’ll send a Zoom link. We can discuss your needs in detail and I can answer any questions you have there and then!
Can I direct you over phone or video?
Absolutely! Usually, you’d need to book a voice over artist for an hour as their basic studio fee, but with me, you can just select only the time you need, priced per 15 minutes. I’m available via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, or FaceTime. And I can be open to Clean Feed and Source Connect too if needed.
When will I receive my order?
Recordings are delivered within 1-3 business days of orders being placed. If order is over 1500 words it could be longer. You have the option of selecting 'Extra Fast Delivery', which will have your recording delivered FASTER, within 12-24 hours. This option will allow you to jump the queue.
What are Rights or Usage and why do I need them for Voice Over?
When hiring a voice actor, rights determine how and where you can use the recording, like Commercial or Broadcast Rights for different mediums. I simplify this process for clarity and fairness. Securing the correct rights ensures legal use, avoiding restrictions, legal issues, or extra fees.
What if my recording is for Internal and Private Use Only?
For internal use like phone systems, presentations, or non-promotional internal communications, the fee is included in the word-count price. However, for training, e-learning, conferences, events, exhibitions or any external marketing, you'll need to purchase Promotional Usage.
When would I need Organic Social Media Rights vs Promotional Usage?
Organic Social Media Rights cover unpaid posts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. For paid ads or promotional activities, you'll need Promotional Usage. If you're unsure about future paid marketing, it’s best to purchase Promotional Usage to cover all bases. Or ask me! 😊
Why would I purchase the Full Rights/Usage Package?
Grants full rights for use in both paid and organic promotional activities across any platform, excluding TV ads. TV work requires a custom quote. Examples of which are radio, podcasts, e-learning, apps, online media platforms, all social media channels, YouTube etc. If in doubt, please ask.
Do you use AI-generated voices?
No, absolutely not. All recordings are 100% human. We do not use AI voice software. Recordings are carefully edited for clarity, and RAW files are archived for assurance. Clients agree not to use recordings for AI, machine learning, or unauthorized purposes.
Can you provide me with a FREE sample?
Absolutely! After agreeing on the price, I’ll provide a few alternative takes from a small part of your script. This helps ensure I’m the right voice for your project and gives you a baseline to direct me from when you place the order, so we can make sure it's just right!
Can You Add Music to My Audio and will I be granted a Licence?
Yes! I can add music to your audio for $50 per minute. Choose a track from www.storyblocks.com and send me the link or track details. You’re fully covered under my individual licence, so no need to buy a separate one. I've got you covered! 😊
