About me
I build and fix websites for European businesses, focused on the two things most sites quietly fail: accessibility and speed. Since the European Accessibility Act became enforceable, EU shops and service sites have to meet EN 301 549, pointing at WCAG 2.1 AA. I audit against it properly - automated scan plus real keyboard and screen-reader testing - and fix what the report finds. I also build fast sites in Next.js and speed up existing ones. Shipped 13+ production websites across 6 markets in six months, from briefing to deployment, on fixed budgets and 7 to 30 day delivery cycles. Migrated a PrestaShop store to a new host, cutting server response from 13 seconds to 0.29 with zero downtime. Rebuilt a public-sector site to WCAG 2.1 AA in the source code rather than with an accessibility overlay, and wrote the accessibility statement that names what is still outstanding. Built a 4-language lead-capture assistant on the Claude API with streaming and tool calling, live in production. Launched a B2B store with 6 languages, 4 currencies and company-account pricing for heavy palletised goods. Work across WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopify and custom React and Next.js.
