In my current role, I manage the full cycle of client accounts — from daily bookkeeping to monthly financial reporting. My core responsibilities include preparing journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, reconciling bank statements against company records, and keeping accounts payable and receivable current and accurate. I also handle day-to-day client payments and invoicing, and I've built a habit of catching discrepancies before they become someone else's problem. Working with clients across Canada and the US has sharpened my attention to detail and taught me to stay accurate across different reporting expectations and time zones. I'm certified in Tally ERP-9, GST, and Accounts Receivable Management, and I work daily in QuickBooks, Tally, and Excel. I studied Commerce (M.Com), and before this role, I spent time teaching Accountancy to senior secondary students — which is probably why I still think in fundamentals first: I don't just enter numbers, I understand why they belong where they do.
