Who will read my manuscript?
Your order includes one complete human read of the agreed submission. I handle communication and delivery. If a collaborating reader will be involved, I'll explain their role and get your agreement before sharing your manuscript. Two independent reads are not included in the standard packages.
How does the $5 launch offer work?
I'm starting this service, so selected manuscripts up to 80k words are $5 plus Fiverr fees. Ask for a free 1,000-word sample to check the fit first. A full read includes notes, a report and 21-day delivery. Limited to my first three paid orders total. Reviews are optional.
What will my report cover?
My overall reading experience, what worked especially well, where engagement or understanding weakened, answers to your questions, and up to three revision priorities when the reading supports them. I focus on what your submission actually needs.
Do you leave inline comments? What format should I send?
Yes, in Word (.docx) files. Please keep chapter headings or scene breaks in place. If you have a PDF or another format, message me first so we can agree on a workable format or a reaction log linked to chapters and passages.
Are you an editor? Will you fix my grammar?
This service gives you one reader's experience of your story. It does not include proofreading, line editing, rewriting, or a developmental edit. I may mention wording that confused me, but I won't correct every sentence.
How critical are you? Can I ask specific questions?
I'm direct about what worked and what didn't work for me, and I explain the scenes behind my reactions. Send up to five questions before I start. Let me know your intended audience and what you're trying to achieve so I can keep that context in mind.
Will you read an unfinished draft or a series?
Yes, within the agreed word count. Tell me where the draft stops and which book it is. For a sequel, send a short summary of the context I need. Reading earlier books is separate work and needs its own quote.
Do you use AI? Will my manuscript stay private?
The assigned human reader supplies the reactions. AI may organize notes or tidy wording only with your permission. I won't send private text or notes to external AI, or publish your work as a sample, without permission. Ask before work starts if you want no AI.
What does a revision include?
One round of clarifications or corrections to my feedback on the same manuscript version, requested through Fiverr's revision process. A rewritten manuscript, new chapters, or another reading pass requires a separate quote.
What if my manuscript is longer or I need a faster delivery?
Message me with the word count before ordering so I can quote the scope and delivery time. I cap my queue at three active orders and offer no rush delivery during launch. Additional words and rereads are priced separately.
