What information do you need to get started?
Please provide your sketches, reference images, dimensions, existing CAD files (if available), and any specific design or manufacturing requirements. The more information you provide, the more accurately I can develop your model or technical drawing. If unclear, I'll contact you before proceeding.
What types of products can you model in SolidWorks?
I can assist with furniture components, product parts, brackets, frames and other mechanical or manufactured components, depending on their complexity. Please share your requirements or reference images before ordering so I can confirm whether the project fits my services.
Which file formats can you deliver?
I can provide SolidWorks models and drawings, along with supported export formats agreed upon before the project begins. Please specify whether you require editable CAD files, STEP, IGES, DXF, PDF or another format so I can confirm compatibility with your workflow.
Can you create 2D technical drawings from a 3D model?
Yes. I can prepare 2D technical drawings from an agreed 3D model, including appropriate views and dimensions based on the information provided. Drawing complexity, tolerances, annotations and additional documentation should be agreed upon before ordering.
Can you modify an existing SolidWorks model or drawing?
Yes, depending on the condition of the supplied files and the changes required. Please provide the existing model or drawing, explain the requested modifications, and include any relevant dimensions or references. Extensive remodelling or repair may require a custom offer.
Can you prepare models for manufacturing?
I can prepare models and technical drawings with manufacturing requirements in mind, based on the information supplied and the agreed scope.
