Can you design a folding knife from just an idea?
Yes. Send a rough sketch or reference images and I’ll turn them into a precise 3D model. I’ll suggest improvements to the pivot, lock and ergonomics so the knife actually works when built.
Will the files work for CNC, waterjet or 3D printing?
Yes. I deliver STEP and STL files, plus DWG drawings, and DXF flat patterns in Premium. Tell me your machine, material and thickness so I can design with the right tolerances.
Which lock types can you model?
Liner lock and frame lock are my standard. Other mechanisms depend on complexity, so message me before ordering and I’ll confirm and send a custom offer.
Do you make or ship the physical knife?
No. This gig delivers digital CAD files only. You or your machinist produce the knife from my files.
