Canva Portfolio Website Design
Marcus Osei • Freelance
Jan 2026 - Jan 2026 • 0 mos
A photographer's website should do one thing exceptionally well get out of the way and let the work speak. That was the brief from Marcus, and it shaped every decision made throughout this project. Using Canva's website builder, I created a minimal, full-screen portfolio site with dedicated gallery sections for Portrait, Commercial, and Documentary photography. No clutter. No unnecessary text. Just clean navigation, intentional spacing, and images that command attention. A simple contact page rounded off the experience. Within the first month of going live, Marcus received three unsolicited commercial inquiries through the site none of which required him to pitch.
Canva Event & Speaker Website Design
The Leadership Collective Country • Freelance
Dec 2025 - Dec 2025 • 0 mos
High-energy events need websites that match the room. The Leadership Collective was preparing for their biggest annual conference yet and needed a Canva website that could carry the weight of that moment online. The site was built around urgency and excitement a countdown timer in the hero, speaker cards with bios and headshots, a schedule breakdown by day, tiered ticket information, and a sponsor wall at the footer. Bold typography and high-contrast section dividers kept the energy moving as visitors scrolled. Every call-to-action was placed with registration in mind. The conference sold out. The client attributed a significant portion of early ticket sales directly to organic traffic through the site.
