Will I be able to identify bottlenecks in my services?
Yes, but you need to understand that bottlenecks identifications is exploratory work, you may require to run tests many many times, leverage all possible monitoring tools and make experiments over your software and coderbase.
Where do I get load generators for performance testing?
For lowest package I will run tests from my machine. For higher numbers we can make use of one of Cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and run tests on their VMs. Highest package includes automatic deployment to load generators. It's responsibility of a customer to provide machines for load generators.
What info do I need to provide?
Every performance testing initiative must have a goal. We need to have (or define) non-functional requirements for your system. Also an information about common user-flows or most used APIs will be very helpful.
