Is my subscriber data safe?
Yes. I back up your full Mailchimp export before I touch anything, and your original account stays intact until you approve the result. I only work with data inside your own accounts, and I don’t keep copies after the project ends.
Do I have to share my passwords?
No. Please don’t. Invite me to your Mailchimp account as a user with the lowest access level that lets me export your data, and give me similar access in EmailOctopus. You can remove my access the moment I’m done. If you only have an owner login, message me first and we’ll find a safe alternative
Will my website or signup forms go down?
No. I prepare the new forms in advance and swap them in once everything is tested, so subscribers can keep signing up throughout. Any short change to your site is done at a time you approve.
