How do we get started?

What qualifications and/or experience do you possess?
1. I LOVE to read & have won awards for writing! 2. Education: B.A. (Paralegal major; History/Theology minors); attended law school. 3. Career Experience: Book Reviewer, Paralegal, Law Clerk, Researcher, Legal Secretary, & Tutor. 4. Freelance: Beta and Sensitivity Reader for all writing levels.
Will I keep the rights to my work? Will my manuscript be kept confidential?
ABSOLUTELY!! After working 25+ years in the legal industry, this is a valid question. You've worked hard to get to this point and your efforts should be commended... NOT stolen!! YOU keep ALL rights to your works, revisions, comments, etc.; it will ALL remain confidential. My lips are sealed!
Which categories do you review in a Beta Reader Report? Can I buy extra categories?
Initial/Overall Impression; Plot Structure; Character Development (main protagonist/antagonist, or #2 of your choosing); Dialogue; Pacing; Readability and Setting. Additional categories are available and may be swapped/added (but require a custom order). Please message me BEFORE placing your order.
What is a Scorecard? Do you have a sample?
A Scorecard is a method I use to provide an in-depth review and rating of your Beta Read Report categories. Extra Scorecards may be purchased for additional categories. A Scorecard sample is available by request. Please message me BEFORE purchasing.
Which Genres do/don't you read?
I review Historical/Literary/Creative Fiction; Romance; Fantasy; YA; Childrens' Literature; Detective/Mystery; Poetry; Drama; Westerns; Comedy/Humor; Non-Fiction; Memoirs/Bios; Legal/Law-related; Religious-related; Bildungsroman; Self-Help; & Textbooks. I DO NOT review Horror or Science Fiction.
Do you perform any research during the review process?
Yes, I conduct basic research to familiarize myself with any unfamiliar topics (i.e., time period, etc.). Comprehensive research services can also be provided under a separate custom order.
What other services do you offer?
Proofreading, Sensitivity/ARC reading, Alternative Manuscript Reviews, Line Editing, Screenplay review, and comprehensive Research Services. If you need a different type of writing/reading service, please contact me BEFORE placing an order to discuss your desired project.

Yes! If you're having problems uploading your docs, please ensure your document is compatible with the FIVERR system (which generally accepts MS Word, Adobe PDFs, Google Docs, etc). Also, please ensure there are no spaces in your document title. If these solutions don't help, please message me.
