No. I always work on a cloned staging copy of your site first. Your live site stays online and untouched until the upgraded version has been fully tested and verified. Deployment only happens after your approval.
What if my site breaks after the upgrade?
This is exactly why the process is structured the way it is. Because every change is tested on staging first, the risk of a live-site failure is minimized. If any issue is discovered post-deployment, I will fix it within the scope of the package's revision policy.
