What is Manifest V3 and does my extension need it?
V3 is Chrome's current extension standard and V2 extensions no longer run. If yours was built before 2023 it almost certainly needs migrating. Send me your manifest.json and I'll check it for free.
Do I get the source code?
Yes, in every package. Full commented source, fully yours. No licensing, no lock-in.
Can you publish it to the Chrome Web Store for me?
Yes. It's included in Premium and available as an extra on Basic and Standard. You'll need a Web Store developer account, which is a one-time $5 fee from Google.
My extension was rejected by the Chrome Web Store. Can you help?
Yes. Send me the rejection email. Most rejections come down to permission scope, a missing privacy policy, or the listing description — all fixable. I fix and resubmit.
Will it work on Firefox and Edge?
Edge runs Chrome extensions almost unchanged. Firefox needs a small port, available as an extra.
Can the extension use AI?
Yes. I integrate OpenAI, Claude or Gemini for summarizing, writing, data extraction or chat inside the extension. You supply the API key.
Can it scrape data from a specific website?
Usually. Send me the URL and the data you need and I'll confirm feasibility before you order. Some sites have protections that make scraping impractical, and I'll tell you honestly rather than take the order.
How long does a typical extension take?
Simple extensions 2 days, multi-feature builds 4 days, full projects with publishing 7 days. If you're on a deadline, message me first and I'll confirm before you order.
