About this gig

A good retro character is not just a low polygon count. The proportions, texture treatment and movement all have to fit the style.

I create custom PS1, PSX, PS2 and N64-inspired low-poly characters for indie games, horror projects and other retro-styled work. I can take the character from a basic model through texturing, rigging and animation depending on what your project needs.

This works well for playable characters, NPCs, enemies, creatures, horror games and retro prototypes.

What I can handle:

  • Character modeling from your concept, sketch or reference
  • Retro low-poly proportions and PSX-style texture treatment
  • UVs and textures where included in the package
  • Rigging for characters that need to be posed or animated
  • Idle, walk, run, attack and other custom animations
  • FBX, OBJ or Blender delivery depending on the package

I can work with existing art direction too, so a new character doesn't look like it came from a different game.

If you already have the model, you can also send it to me for rigging or animation instead of ordering a new character.

Send your reference and tell me what the character needs to do in-game. I will check the scope before you order.

I’m a 3D artist with 4 years of experience creating low-poly game art for indie projects and personal games. I work mainly with retro, PS1/PSX, PS2, N64, horror and stylized visuals, creating characters, environments and props from concept to usable game assets. I can handle the modelling, texturing, UVs, rigging and character animation are all part of my workflow. Most of my work has been freelance and project-based, so I’m used to working from sketches, references, screenshots or a rough idea and figuring out what the asset actually needs before building it.
