Most speed services run a Lighthouse test, install a cache plugin, and leave. Your store stays just as slow for real visitors.
Lighthouse is a lab test on a simulated device. Google ranks with field data from real users over 28 days (CrUX). Those two disagree often - I work on the one that counts.
WHAT I DO
I measure where the time actually goes: what blocks rendering, how heavy the images are, how it behaves on a weak mobile connection. Then I fix in order of impact, not in order of what is easy.
WHY ME
I run my own Shopify store: 477 active products, theme coded by me, loading in 1.9 seconds, rated "Great" by Google for site quality. Not a checklist I read about - what I maintain daily with real traffic.
HONEST NOTE
If your store is slow because of a heavy page builder or a stack of paid apps, no optimization fully fixes that without removing something. I will tell you that upfront.

No. I work on a copy or a theme backup first, and you approve before anything goes live.
Do you guarantee a 90+ score?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. A score can be gamed without the site getting faster. I guarantee measured improvement on real user metrics, and show before/after.
Do I need to buy any app or plugin?
Usually not. If a paid tool is genuinely the best option, I tell you the cost before we start and you decide.
