Pre-opening Internal Control set up, Systems configuration and Implementation Worked closely with the Finance, Procurement, Stores, and operational teams to establish the internal control framework required for pre-opening and operational phases. Supported procurement system developers with the configuration and implementation of inventory items, cost centers, and General Ledger (GL) allocation across all departments. Conducted marginal costing for products and supported the establishment of appropriate cost structures ahead of opening. Fully responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day management of the procurement management system. Fully responsible for registering, training team members and relevant operational users on how to use a procurement system. Opening Readiness and Operational Transition Coordinated with Finance and operational departments to ensure procurement, receiving, inventory issuing, and internal control procedures were ready for operations. Review and verify purchase orders, invoices, and inventory transfers for accuracy, appropriate cost allocation, and compliance with established procedures. Conduct regular inventory audits, physical stock counts, and stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Monitor departmental consumption in collaboration with the Finance team and Heads of Departments to identify unusual usage, wastage, and potential control risks. Financial Compliance and Cost Reporting Ensure proper documentation and accurate allocation of Profit & Loss-related costs to the appropriate General Ledger accounts and departmental codes in line with LSOPs. Review and promptly correct discrepancies in cost records, inventory records, and financial documentation. Support internal audits and monitor compliance with Marriott standards, LSOPs, SOPs, internal-control requirements, and applicable local regulations.
