If you need help with your Linux Server (even if you don't have it yet), I'm here to help! It can be a physical server, Cloud VM, VPS or even a VM in your homelab.

How do I work: Ideally we would chat about your requirements and make an estimate about how many hours it would take to finish the project. Then we can book a time slot to work on the project.

Are there any limitations to the Linux distro's you can support?
Any modern Linux distro should be OK. If you are using an outdated (past EOL) distro, we can discuss and find the right approach together. Also, if you have NetBSD or FreeBSD I will not be able to help you.
What do you do with the server credentials after the work is done?
I do not keep any keys or credentials for later use. If you ask me to give you a public key, it is your responsibility to remove this key from your server, same applies for username:password combinations. I always create a new set of private-public keypair for each customer.
Will you take any backups of my data?
Backups are your responsibility. Please be sure you have recent backup of your all files and these backups are on a remote location (not on the server we are working on). There is always a chance of data loss, I am not responsible of lost data.
I don't know how long the work will take, what should I do?
Please contact me before ordering so we can discuss and plan the work together. If we agreed on 2 hours and the work took a few minutes longer I wouldn't make you pay extra. I'm not counting minutes.

Yes, we need to pick a time slot together.
