Flatter’s job consists in creating precise selections of all different colors in the page, filling them with solid colors. This is called a “flat”. These selections, that meet under the line art, are useful for colorists. They use these flats to easily select the objects, focusing on the rendering.

Flat colors are made to be easily modified by the final colorist during the rendering process. Anyway you can send me references, samples, other finished pages (or even just some written directions), and even some color schemes. I’ll make sure your needs will be satisfied!
