As a Bioscience graduate (First Class Honours, Gold Medalist) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka and a current Teaching Assistant at a university, I actively support undergraduate students in understanding complex biological and aquatic science concepts. My role includes: • Assisting in teaching Biology, Aquatic Science, and Fisheries-related subjects • Guiding students through practical and theoretical lessons • Simplifying complex scientific concepts for better understanding • Supporting academic work including assignments and exam preparation I have been recognized for academic excellence and research, for innovative work in aquaculture, fisheries and biotechnology. My research work has also gained national and international recognition, reflecting my commitment to quality and impact. Through this experience, I have developed strong communication, teaching, and analytical skills, along with the ability to adapt lessons based on different learning needs. I am passionate about making learning engaging, clear, and effective and I bring this approach into every tutoring and coaching session.
