"What is your book about?"

There are three ways that writers answer this question

1. They freeze and stammer a pitch
2. They ramble until the entire book is spoiled
3. They confidently drop a concise pitch that sells the book

Creating a pitch you can be proud of is hard! It can seem like a balancing act between babbling bookish nonsense and rigidly reciting a memorized paragraph like you used to do in school.

During our 30-minute session, you will be able to pitch your book to me and hear my opinion as a reader, before we deep-dive into your pitch (and blurb) to perfect the pitch.

There are two ways our session can go:

Blind Pitch: We start our call with you pitching your book to me for the first time. We will then review your synopsis and tweak your pitch together. (Preferred if you have a solid start to your pitch.)

Practice Pitch: You will share your synopsis with me (and a pitch outline) that I will review before the call. I will come with suggestions and we will shape the pitch together, and end with you reciting it. (Preferred if you don't know where to start with your pitch.)
