I will build a power bi dashboard for sales, margin and profitability

Most Power BI dashboards get built, admired once, and abandoned - because

nobody can tie the number on the screen back to the ledger.

I build the other kind. Five years in accounting and bookkeeping, so I start

from what your finance team needs to reconcile, not from what looks good in a

chart.

WHAT YOU GET

1. A proper data model - star schema, not one flat table with slicers on top
2. DAX measures that hold up: revenue, gross margin, margin %, YoY, and the variance decompositions your board actually asks for
3. A dashboard built around three or four decisions, not forty metrics
4. Row-level security if different people should see different regions
5. A reconciliation note so any number can be traced back to source
6. Handover: the .pbix, the model, and a short walkthrough of how to refresh it

WHAT YOU SEND ME

Your sales or finance export, and one sentence on the decision the dashboard

has to support. That second part matters more than the first - a dashboard

without a decision attached is decoration.

I do not invent data to make a demo look better. If your dataset cannot

support the measure you asked for, I will tell you which one it can.
