FAQ
What do I need to send to start?
Your finished manuscript as a Word or Google Doc, your title and author name, and your trim size if you know it. Tell me if you want ebook, print or both. Message me first and I’ll confirm the page count and price.
How long does it take, and what slows it down?
Basic takes 3 days, Standard 5, Premium 7. Clean, edited manuscripts are faster. Messy styles, many images or tables slow things down. Rush delivery is available as an extra.
What counts as a revision?
Fixes to my formatting, such as spacing, headings or layout. Changing your text after delivery or adding new chapters is not a revision. Please send your final, edited manuscript before I start.
Which package should I pick?
Basic is one format. Standard gives you ebook and paperback from the same layout, which suits most authors. Premium adds hardcover and the editable source file. Not sure? Message me first.
What file formats do I get?
Ebook as EPUB or KPF, print interior as a print-ready PDF. They’re made for Amazon KDP. If you plan to use IngramSpark or another store, tell me before ordering so I can set it up correctly.
Who owns the rights?
You do. You keep all rights to your book. I don’t claim any rights and I never share your manuscript. I only show formatted pages in my portfolio if you agree first.
What’s not included?
Editing, proofreading, cover design, writing and uploading to KDP. I format the file you give me. A very messy manuscript or complex layout may need an extra, and I’ll tell you before you order.
Can I get rush delivery or extras?
Yes. Rush delivery in 24 to 48 hours, extra images or tables, and hardcover on Standard are available as gig extras. Message me first so I can confirm I can meet your deadline.
I’ve never formatted a book. What if something goes wrong?
I check your manuscript before you order and give you the exact price, so there are no surprises. If KDP rejects the file because of my formatting, I fix it for free. Message me with any questions.
Do you offer KDP book formatting for both Kindle and paperback?
Yes. My KDP book formatting covers Kindle ebook and paperback interiors, plus hardcover. I set margins, bleed, page numbers and the table of contents to Amazon’s rules so your upload goes through.
