That's what this gig is for. Send me the error message, or even just a screenshot of what's gone wrong, and I'll find the actual cause and fix it. Not a patch that hides the symptom - the real cause. When it's done I'll explain what happened in plain language, so you're not left wondering whether it will break again tomorrow.
What people usually come to me with:

A few things about how I work. I always test on a copy of your site first, never on the live one. If something is outside what I do well, I'll tell you before you order instead of us finding out together later. And you'll always know exactly what I changed and why.

I fix WordPress sites that are broken, slow, or that don't match the design they were supposed to follow.
Three things I do well: finding the actual cause of a bug instead of patching symptoms, making slow sites measurably faster (verified with PageSpeed before and after), and converting Figma or HTML designs into clean, hand-coded WordPress themes with no page-builder bloat.
I test changes on a staging copy before they ever touch your live site, and I explain what I changed in plain language. If a job is outside what I do well, I'll say so instead of taking it.

Do I need to give you access to my site?
For most fixes, yes - a temporary admin user works best, and I'll explain how to create one and delete it afterwards. If the site won't load at all, hosting access may be needed.
What if you can't fix my problem?
If I can't resolve it, you don't pay for that attempt — I'll tell you plainly if something's outside scope before I start, not after.
Will you break anything on my live site?
No - I work on a staging copy first and only apply the fix to your live site once it's tested and working.
