FAQ
Why should I migrate Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1?
Squarespace 7.1 provides newer design tools, Fluid Engine sections, improved layout flexibility and access to current Squarespace features.
Can every Squarespace 7.0 website be updated automatically?
No. Eligibility depends on the template family and website configuration. If automatic updating is unavailable, the website may require manual recreation in version 7.1.
Will my website design remain the same?
I will recreate the design as closely as possible. Some 7.0 template features may work differently or may not exist in Squarespace 7.1.
Will my domain remain connected after migration?
The domain can normally remain connected or be moved to the updated website. I will review and test the domain connection when included in the project.
Will my Squarespace SEO settings be preserved?
I will transfer or recreate basic page titles, descriptions, URLs and other available SEO settings. Search rankings cannot be guaranteed.
Can you migrate custom CSS and code?
I can review existing custom CSS and code. Compatible code may be transferred, while outdated or template-specific code may require additional work.
Can you migrate more than 12 pages?
Yes. Send me your current website link and total number of pages, and I will prepare a custom offer for the complete migration.
