I translate English Steam store copy into Simplified Chinese, keeping your tone and selling points.
Basic: up to 400 English words of existing store copy, with human translation and review.
Standard: up to 800 English words. Premium: up to 1200 English words. Both also include 2-3 Chinese title options with English explanations, image text, setup instructions and one store-page preview check.
All tiers include one consolidated revision round. Supplied trailer scripts/subtitles may share the word allowance. Supplied SRT keeps its existing timing. Achievements are optional within the agreed scope, word limit and tier.
No AI-generated player-facing text. Client materials are not submitted to third-party AI or used for training.
No transcription, subtitle timing work, video editing, burn-in or artwork editing. In-game text and LQA are separate. No Steamworks password needed.
Extra: US$40 per 500 English words; larger scopes need an agreed schedule. Questions welcome on Fiverr; no files needed just to ask.

FAQ
How do the three packages differ?
Basic covers existing store copy, up to 400 English words. Standard (800) and Premium (1200) also include 2-3 Chinese title options with English explanations, image text, setup instructions and one preview check. All tiers include human translation/review and one revision round.
Do you use AI for translation or review?
I translate and review the text myself. No AI-generated player-facing text. Client materials are not submitted to third-party AI tools or used to train models. Non-AI checks help preserve placeholders, tags, file syntax and terminology.
Do you need my Steamworks account?
No password is needed. Standard/Premium include ready-to-paste Chinese text, setup instructions and one preview check using a shareable page, preview or screenshots. Direct account entry needs separate agreement and minimum necessary permissions.
Is artwork editing included?
Standard/Premium include agreed image text within the shared word allowance and font guidance. Artwork editing, redrawing and typesetting are separate. Basic covers existing store copy without these title, image, setup or preview extras.
Is in-game testing or engine work included?
Playable-build testing is optional LQA, quoted separately at US$30 per hour of gameplay. Font setup, engine code and project changes are separate. Text-file checks do not verify how a complete game build displays or behaves.
What do I need to send, and which files do you accept?
For an order, send editable English copy: DOCX, TXT, CSV, XLSX or text pasted into Fiverr. A Steam link, screenshots and tone references help but are optional. You do not need to prepare files just to contact me and ask questions.
What does one revision round mean?
Send one consolidated feedback list, and I return revised Chinese copy. My own translation errors are fixed free and do not use the round. New content or changes to the English scope may need a separate quote, agreed on Fiverr before extra work starts.
Can I mark my game as supporting Chinese after this?
Only mark Simplified Chinese under Steam's supported game languages when the game itself supports it. A translated store page alone is not enough. This gig covers global Steam; mainland China publishing, licensing and guaranteed sales or wishlists are not included.
Which text counts toward the word allowance?
All agreed English source text shares the purchased allowance: store copy and, where agreed for the tier, title options, image text, trailer scripts/subtitles and achievements. Extra: US$40 per 500 English words. Larger scopes need an agreed delivery schedule.
Can you translate my trailer subtitles?
Yes, supplied trailer scripts or subtitles may share any tier's word allowance. Supplied SRT retains its existing timing. Transcription, creating or adjusting timings, video editing and burned-in subtitles are not included.
