What do you need from me to start?
I normally need the existing site/tree survey, proposed site plan or architectural drawing, and any planning requirements you already have. If you are unsure what to send, you can send what you have first and I can review it.
Can you create a tree protection plan from my existing survey?
Yes. If you provide the tree survey and a suitable base/site plan, I can use the supplied information to prepare the tree protection drawing.
Can you show proposed development and existing trees on the same drawing?
Yes. I can coordinate the existing tree information with the proposed site layout so the relationship between the development and retained trees is easy to understand.
Do you provide tree surveys?
This gig is primarily for drawing and documentation based on information supplied by the client or their arboricultural professional. It does not include a physical tree inspection unless separately agreed and properly qualified.
Can you show trees that will be removed and trees that will remain?
Yes. Tree retention and removal information can be incorporated into the drawing when that information is provided.
Can you include root protection areas?
Yes, where the required tree measurements or arboricultural information are supplied. I can show the relevant protection areas on the drawing.
Can you make changes after I receive the drawing?
Yes. Each package includes a specified number of revisions. Larger changes or new information introduced after completion may require additional work.
Can you prepare the arboricultural report too?
The gig is focused on the drawing/documentation side. A formal arboricultural report, tree assessment, inspection or professional certification should be prepared and signed by the appropriately qualified professional responsible for that assessment.
