I specialize in advanced PCB design and embedded hardware development, including complex heterogeneous systems that integrate Linux-capable processors, microcontrollers, high-speed interfaces, and mixed-signal subsystems. My experience includes designing boards based on RISC-V and ARM architectures such as Rocket Chip–based systems, Allwinner application processors (including A64, H616, and related SoCs, etc), and high-performance microcontrollers. I have developed hardware platforms using STM32 families (STM32F4, STM32H7, STM32WL series etc), ESP wireless MCUs (ESP32, ESP32-S3, etc), and Raspberry Pi microcontrollers (RP2040 and RP2350 etc). I design systems that combine multiple processing domains, enabling Linux SBC-class processors to interface with real-time microcontrollers and dedicated coprocessors for control, communications, and sensor processing. My PCB work covers: • High-density multilayer PCB layout and schematic design • DDR memory routing and high-speed signal integrity considerations • Power architecture design and PMIC integration • High-speed digital interfaces and expansion buses Typical interfaces and subsystems I integrate include: • PCIe and other high-speed expansion buses • Ethernet (RMII / RGMII / Gigabit PHY integration) • CAN and CAN-FD industrial networks • USB 2.0 / USB-C device and host systems • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radios • SPI, I²C, UART, and SDIO communication buses • eMMC, NAND, NOR flash, and high-speed storage interfaces • Camera interfaces including MIPI-CSI and parallel camera sensors • Display interfaces including RGB, MIPI-DSI, and LVDS • ADC/DAC analog subsystems and mixed-signal sensor integration I also design boards that integrate wireless communication modules, embedded networking stacks, camera pipelines, and industrial connectivity for robotics, IoT systems, edge computing devices, and embedded Linux platforms.

▎ Highly recommend Peter for ESP32-S3 hardware design work. He took on a fairly complex 4-layer PCB project — ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U with GPS, wireless Qi charging, I2S audio (amp + mic), 64MB external QSPI flash through a level shifter, USB-UART bridge with auto-reset, buck-boost regulator, and a TCA9554...

Peter did great work turning my detailed functional requirements into a competed schematic and PCB. The PCB design was efficiently laid out with zero errors uploading it for manufacturing and assembly.
