FAQ
What happens if I don't like the artwork?
This almost never happens! But if it does, then it is most likely a communication misunderstanding. We regroup and go over the client's wants/needs again. If I misunderstood and got it wrong then I will re-design the artwork at no extra cost. I know the importance of loving the work.
When I look at the artwork, why do the colors look different on my phone in comparison to my computer?
When artwork is reviewed on a computer, laptop, or smartphone, each individual display/screen is powered by a different graphics card and software. The way each of them shows the colors can vary.
Can you create barcodes?
As long as you have your UPC-A or EAN-13 set of numbers, I can create the barcodes.
Can you create physical mock-ups of the boxes?
Yes - at an extra cost, because materials and shipping are involved. Feel free to message me about the details.
What does it mean to make a revision?
To make a revision means to make changes to the artwork in order to improve it, to make it more suitable for a particular purpose. The design stays the same but moving parts can be changed - for example: changing the font, changing the font color, changing images, adding more symbols or information
Do you work with smaller or first-time brands, or only established companies?
Both. Some of my favorite projects have been first products for brands just getting into retail. What matters more than size is being ready to invest in packaging that can actually compete on shelf, not how many products you've launched before.
How does payment work, do I pay everything upfront?
You can pay the full package price upfront, or use Milestones to split payment across project phases instead of one lump sum. Either way, work begins once payment for that stage is confirmed.
What if I don't have a printer or dieline yet?
No problem, I handle that. I can work from your existing dieline or generate one from scratch, and I'll walk you through print-ready specs even if you haven't chosen a printer yet.
Who owns the rights to the design?
I retain full copyright of all work. Buyers receive a license to use designs for their stated product only. Source file delivery is for production use, not ownership transfer.
