My name is Meredith and I specialize in revising PA school personal statements for submission to CASPA!
My passion for helping with personal statements is grounded in the opportunity for prospective PAs to tell their story and stand out as an applicant.
Only choose my services if you want in-depth, detailed, and thought-provoking feedback! It will be a lot but will stimulate your thinking and help you dig deep.
I meticulously review essays line by line, incorporating feedback while editing for grammar, structure, and content.
The comprehensive package includes the initial review, followed by the buyer revising and sending back for a second review, before the buyer returns it a second time to receive a finalized version of the essay. (Please note, the third version does not include additional feedback, but is edited and revised to be ready for submission.)
What sets me apart is my commitment to the PA profession and to understanding applicants' strengths and motivations. How do I know which package to choose?
I recommend the platinum package for the most thorough and complete review and revision, start to finish. This will allow us to work together to perfect the finalized piece and prepare it for CASPA submission!
I don't know where to get started! Can you help me brainstorm?
I don't help with brainstorming before you write the essay because I feel that would be an unfair advantage. If you start from the heart and just put down what you can think of, we can help you get the essay where it needs to go.
What can I expect for when my essay is returned?
After my review, your essay will be returned to you edited in a Word document with comments and suggestions interspersed within. I am very responsive to any follow up questions you may have, so do not hesitate to reach out for clarification or concerns.
What is your turnaround time?
I will not take longer than 5 days for turnaround PER revision. That means, if you order a package with two revisions, please allow for 5 days for each revision to be completed and sent back to you.
What if my essay is over 5,000 characters?
That's okay. I ask you try to keep it at least around 6,500 before sending it to me. I will help make sure the final version is at the appropriate limit.
What if I need a third (or fourth) revision?
No problem, we can set up a custom order for that.
Do you edit supplemental essays?
Yes, I have, and I do! Just message me first so we can outline the expectations and length, and I will set up a custom order for you.
Do you help with essays other than for PA school?
Absolutely. I have edited personal statements for entrance to schools including nurse practitioner, medical, anesthesiology, dental, and more. Just reach out and chat if you have any questions.
Do you utilize AI in editing essays?
I do NOT use artificial intelligence (AI) as part of my editing process.
Do you include Zoom/phone calls?
At this time, I am unable to accomodate Zoom or phone calls, but am very responsive to messages and am incredibly detailed in the written feedback I provide.
