Professional musician & arranger with a specialism in horn sections - Session work throughout the UK & Europe, including pop, funk, soul, jazz, ska, latin, Scottish traditional, Latin, African & Balkan styles.
From a classical background with a BMus (Hons) 1st class in flute performance with jazz & composition. Extensive professional arrangement & transcription work over last 20 years. Previous work includes performances with Amanda Palmer, Public Service Broadcasting, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Hackney Colliery Band & Texas.
I work exclusively in Dorico, but can import/export MusicXML files.

Tom is absolute magic. I approached him with an unidentified song clip that I wanted to learn by ear. He not only launched a personal investigation with other musicians to crack the mystery and find the song title ('Memories Of You'), but he also delivered flawlessly accurate sheet music right on schedule....

I stopped counting how often I already contacted Tom for transcription of songs that we wanted to play in our band… he is always super responsive and very quick. Not only that he is very professional, his transcriptions also work perfectly in the band context. I am very happy about this new score 😃! Probably not the last one with Tom 😃!

I'm new to Fiverr, so don't have experience with this, but Tom did a great job, quickly, doing exactly what he promised (transcribing a trumpet part and including a lead sheet) in a high quality manner. It would have taken me many, many hours to do these tasks myself, and I doubt my own efforts would have resulted in as professional of a result. Thanks Tom!!

You did great job of what I have asked for . Thank you ! I may ask for in the future for more work It is missing a few banding ( bending) in the high notes at the latter part. I may ask for either piano or cello sheet music for the beginning part and in the middle part. Well done, thank you
