What do you need from me to get started?
Just tell me about your business - what you do, who your customers are, and any sites or styles you like. If you have a logo, brand colours, text, or images, send them over. If not, don't worry, I can guide you through it. The clearer your goals, the better the result.
Will my website work on mobile?
Yes, always. Every site I build is fully responsive and tested to look and work perfectly on mobile, tablet, and desktop. Most visitors browse on their phones, so mobile performance is built in from the start, not bolted on afterwards.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. Each package includes a set number of revisions so we can refine the design until you're happy. I want you to genuinely love the final result, so I'll work with your feedback rather than just hand something over and disappear. We believe in building a long term business relationship.
Can you help get my site get found on Google?
Absolutely. Every site is built with local SEO fundamentals baked in - clean structure, fast load times, proper metadata, and strong Core Web Vitals. This gives you a solid foundation to rank for local searches. I can also discuss ongoing SEO if you want to go further.
Do you offer hosting?
We can yes. For small and medium sized sites we use Vercel. For large end enterprise we can use Vercel or AWS. There are monthly maintenance charges for our hosting, for example $29 a month for small / medium size sites. Importantly, this fee also includes security updates for your website.
Do you offer support?
Yes. We offer support via your portal area of our website.
Can I self host the site?
Yes. Upon completion, and payment, for the site we will professionally package the site, including content, database schema and full details on how to setup the site on your own server. If you do want to self host, just mention it on the initial call.
How do I know the site will have a good uptime and won't disappear?
A legitimate concern! All of our sites are hostel on Vercel (verbal.com) or AWS. These services are designed for uptime and resilience.
What is your experience?
Good question! I have spent the last 30 years working in software development, from designing the UK's first online education system, providing environmental tracking solutions and, latterly, working for one of the UK's top FinCos delivering software for Tier 1 & 2 financial institutes.
Do you use AI?
Yes and no! Yes, we use AI to create the initial designs for you to review. We also use AI to build the internal security and performance systems to ensure your site is safe and performant. On the other hand, no, we don't use AI to just build and put live. A human hand is involved throughout.
