I will upgrade your drupal site to drupal 10 or 11, or legacy PHP to PHP 8

About this gig
Running an unsupported version of Drupal, Symfony or PHP? I'll move your application onto a supported version, with your content intact and a release plan that can be rolled back.
I'm a senior backend engineer who has worked with PHP 5 through 8 and Symfony since version 3, and I've kept Drupal platforms on supported releases for large organisations.
What I upgrade:
- Drupal 9 to Drupal 10, and Drupal 10 to Drupal 11
- Symfony major version upgrades
- Legacy PHP 5 or 7 code to PHP 8.x
How it works:
- Readiness report: deprecated code, contrib module compatibility and risks
- Custom code updated using tools such as Upgrade Status and Rector, then reviewed by hand
- Testing on a staging copy of the site
- Staged, reversible go-live
You get a written upgrade report, the updated code in your repository, and notes on anything that changed for editors.
Please message me first with your current version and the number of custom modules, so I can recommend the right package.

FAQ
Can you upgrade a Drupal 7 site?
No. This gig covers Drupal 9 and 10 sites moving up, and Symfony or legacy PHP upgrades.
Will I lose content?
No. A major-version upgrade within Drupal 9, 10 and 11 keeps your existing database and content. Everything is tested on a copy first.
What if a contrib module has no compatible release?
I'll find a patched or alternative version, or replace it with a small custom module, and agree that with you before going ahead.
Which hosting do you support?
Any host with SSH or Git deployment, including AWS and Pantheon.
