I will build your serverless backend on cloudflare workers or AWS lambda
Serverless and GenAI fixer, kill latency and cost in 24 hours
About this Gig
You need a backend, and you would rather not pay for idle servers or babysit them.
Serverless is the right answer for most products that are not yet at constant heavy load. You pay for what actually runs, it scales without you doing anything, and there is nothing to patch at two in the morning.
What you get:
Cloudflare Workers or AWS Lambda, whichever actually fits the product.
Node.js and TypeScript, with tests on the paths that carry money or identity.
Storage chosen for your access patterns, not by habit: DynamoDB, D1, Postgres or MongoDB.
Queues, scheduled jobs and event triggers where work should be asynchronous.
Infrastructure as code, so the deploy is repeatable and not a console click.
Deployed into your own cloud account, documented, and yours to run without me.
I have built this at both ends of the scale, from single services to a multi-tenant platform running on more than 200 AWS Lambdas.
Fixed scope, fixed price. Tell me what the product needs to do and I will tell you what it actually needs before you order.

FAQ
Cloudflare Workers or AWS Lambda, which should I pick?
It depends on what the product does. Workers are excellent for low-latency APIs and edge logic and cheaper at small scale. Lambda wins when you need the wider AWS ecosystem around it. I will recommend one and explain why.
Will I be locked into working with you afterwards?
No. It deploys into your own cloud account, the infrastructure is code in your repository, and you get handover documentation. If you never message me again, everything still runs.
Can you take over an existing backend instead of starting fresh?
Yes, and that is often the cheaper answer. Message me first with what already exists and I will tell you honestly whether a takeover or a rebuild makes more sense for you.
