Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?
Yes. WhatsApp bots need the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Cloud API or Twilio). I'll guide you through setting it up. Telegram only needs a free bot token.
What are the running costs?
Usually a few dollars a month for hosting and AI usage at small-business volume, plus Meta's WhatsApp conversation fees. I'll estimate them for your volume.
Can it hand the conversation to a human?
Yes. In the Business Assistant package, the bot can alert you and step back when a customer asks for a person or the question is outside its knowledge.
