FAQ
What types of pixel art maps can you create?
I specialize in all major map types: overworld maps (Pokémon/Zelda style), top-down RPG game maps, dungeon maps, town/city maps, fantasy world maps, and regional maps for D&D or TTRPG campaigns. If you have a specific type in mind, message me and I'll confirm what's achievable.
What game engines are your maps compatible with?
Maps are delivered as PNG by default — compatible with RPG Maker MV/MZ, Unity, Godot, GameMaker, and any other engine. For Standard and Premium packages I also provide the Aseprite source file. If you need tiles formatted for a specific engine's tileset system, let me know when ordering.
Do I get commercial use rights?
Yes — all packages include full commercial use rights at no extra cost. You can sell your game on Steam, itch.io, the App Store, or any platform. You can also use the pixel art map for published books, RPG supplements, or merchandise.
Can you make a Pokémon-style overworld pixel art map?
Absolutely — this is one of the most popular requests I receive. Share your world layout, region size, and any reference images (official Pokémon maps, fan games, etc.) and I'll recreate that classic overworld pixel style for your specific world.
Do I need to message you before placing an order?
No — unlike many sellers in this space, I don't require a pre-order message. Simply order and fill in the brief I send after purchase. If you'd like to discuss a complex project first, I'm always happy to chat, but it's never a requirement.
What resolution do you recommend for my map?
For most RPG games, 400–800px works well for full world maps. If you need a map to fill a large game world, or need it to scale up without pixelation, choose the Standard or Premium package — they support higher resolutions. Feel free to ask if you're unsure.
Can you match a pixel art style I already have in my game?
Yes — send me a reference image or existing game asset and I'll match the pixel density, color palette, and tile resolution so the new map fits seamlessly into your existing game world.
