I will do a dfm and 3d printability check on your part
Engineering
About this Gig
I check whether your part is actually feasible to 3D print or manufacture before you spend money finding out the hard way.
Most print failures come from a handful of predictable issues thin walls, unsupported overhangs, wrong orientation, tolerances that don't survive FDM shrinkage, or a material that doesn't match the use case. I catch these before you order a print or send a part to production.
WHAT YOU GET:
- A clear read on your part's printability / manufacturability
- The specific issues flagged (wall thickness, overhangs, orientation, tolerances)
- A material recommendation with reasoning
- Concrete fixes, not just a list of problems (Standard & Premium)
WHAT YOU SEND:
STEP, STL, or a clear photo/sketch with dimensions. The better the input, the more precise the check.
WHY THIS FIRST:
It's the cheapest way to avoid a failed print or a redesign loop. If issues come up, I'll tell you honestly what to change and you're welcome to bring the fixed design to my CAD or reverse engineering gigs.

FAQ
Q: What files do you need?
A: STEP or STL is ideal. No CAD file yet? A clear photo or sketch with key dimensions also works, though accuracy will be lower.
Q: What exactly do I get back?
A: Basic: short bullet-point feedback. Standard & Premium: a written PDF report on printability, tolerances, orientation, and material fit.
Q: Can you also fix the design?
A: Not in this gig, this is a check, not a redesign. If changes are needed, I'll tell you exactly what, and you can order my CAD gig for the fix.
Q: What if my part is fine as-is?
A: Then I confirm that and you're good to go, no upsell, no invented problems.
Q: Is my design kept confidential?
A: Yes. Files and concepts are strictly confidential.
