Gig Summary
About this gig
You have a business idea, not a backend. Every extra week of development costs you market position, investors, or your first customers.
I am a senior Python developer. I build MVP backends that:
- launch fast: a working backend in 5-10 days
- hold up at your first 100 customers: a structure that is easy to extend as you grow
- cost a predictable amount: fixed price, fixed timeline, no surprises
What you get:
- User signup, login and roles
- REST API built for your product (Django REST Framework or FastAPI, whichever fits better)
- PostgreSQL database, ready to grow
- Payment integration (Stripe or similar) if you need to sell from day one
- Deployment to a live server: a working product, not a zip file of code
- API docs so your frontend team can plug in right away
Why this is a good business decision:
- You save money compared to hiring a team. One senior developer covers the whole backend.
- You get code you can show a technical co-founder or investor.
- No rewrite three months in. The foundation is done right from day one.
Years of production backend work behind real products. I turn business goals into a working system, fast.

Senior Python backend developer with 5+ years in production systems: FastAPI, Django, PostgreSQL, async SQLAlchemy, Kafka, Docker. I design event-driven microservices and clean, testable architectures that handle real money and real load, and I build fast, reliable MVP backends for startups. Clear communication, honest estimates, and code the next developer can pick up without a handover meeting. From a one-off script or bug fix to a full backend: describe what you need and I will tell you how to get there.

FAQ
Ongoing support?
After the warranty, paid monthly plans are available for updates, fixes, and consultations.
I'm not technical. How do I explain what I need?
No problem. I ask questions in business terms (what the product does, who the users are, how you make money) and translate that into technical requirements myself.
Django or FastAPI: which is better for me?
Django when you need a fast launch with a ready-made admin panel and proven patterns (classic SaaS or e-commerce MVP). FastAPI when response speed or many concurrent integrations matter from day one. I review your product and recommend one as part of the project.
What happens after the MVP, once I get customers?
The architecture is built from day one to let you add features and scale without a rewrite. I can also continue supporting the project afterward.
Who pays for hosting and the domain?
You do, so you fully own your infrastructure. I help you pick a provider and set it up. Typical MVP hosting costs 10-30 USD per month.

It was a simple project but he worked on it right away and no issues. Very straightforward and I appreciate the prompt response and completion of the project. Seems to know what he's doing. Based on this work I'd be interested in working together again but not sure anything more will be needed.
