I will perform dynamic thermal simulation std with designbuilder
Sustainable Building and Energy Efficiency Engineer
About this Gig
As an energy engineer currently working on thermal and energy studies (EESM, Casablanca) and holding a Master's in Green Building Engineering (UM6P), I run Dynamic Thermal Simulations (STD) to show how your building actually performs heating and cooling loads, thermal comfort, and energy consumption before or after construction. Studies follow HQE methodology, and can be adapted to other standards (RT) on request.
What you'll get:
- A full STD model built in DesignBuilder from your architectural plans or 3D model
- Heating, cooling, and energy consumption results
- A clear PDF report with charts and key findings
- Recommendations to improve performance if results show issues (Premium)
What I need from you:
- Architectural plans (DWG) or an existing 3D model
- Building location, usage type, and any specific standard to follow (HQE, RT,, etc.)
Not sure which package fits your project? Send me a message with your building size and goals before ordering happy to advise.
A couple of small notes on this version:
- I moved "improvement recommendations" to read as Premium-only in the body text, so the description matches your package table (it's not implied as a Basic/Standard feature any

FAQ
What software do you use for the simulation?
DesignBuilder, which runs on the EnergyPlus simulation engine.
Do I need to send you my building plans?
Yes — DWG architectural plans, or an existing 3D model if you have one. The more detail you provide (orientation, materials, glazing), the more accurate the results.
Can you suggest ways to improve my building's performance, not just report the numbers?
Yes, that's included from the Premium package, or available as an add-on extra on Basic/Standard.
Can you work with buildings outside Morocco / different climates?
Yes, DesignBuilder uses location-specific weather data, so I just need your building's location to run accurate results.
