Station Producer

Connect FM • Full-time

Jun 2016 - Jan 2019 • 2 yrs 7 mos

I played a key role in supporting the production team to deliver engaging, high-quality content for live and pre-recorded radio broadcasts. My responsibilities included assisting with the editing, structuring, and organisation of live shows to ensure smooth transitions, strong pacing, and consistent audio quality. I worked closely with senior producers to help create tailored content suited to different time slots, audiences, and programming styles. In addition, I managed music playlists and scheduling while ensuring full compliance with copyright and licensing requirements for all broadcast material. I also supported the team during live broadcasts and events, contributing to studio operations, troubleshooting issues in real time, and liaising with presenters and clients as required. Alongside these core duties, I assisted with ad hoc production tasks to help ensure efficient workflows and successful live output.
