Found a great 3D model online, but it doesn't quite fit your needs? STLs are hard to editbut I can help! Using Onshape, I turn static meshes into editable, functional parts.
What I can do for you:
- Modify Dimensions: Change hole sizes, wall thickness, or overall scale of an existing STL.
- Add/Remove Features: Add a logo, remove a bracket, or combine two parts into one (Remixing).
- Reverse Engineering (STL to STEP): I will manually redraw your simple STL mesh into a clean, professional CAD file (STEP) that you can use for CNC or further engineering.
- Fix for Printing: Optimize orientation, strengthen weak spots, or split large parts to fit your printer.
PLEASE NOTE: I work with mechanical/geometric parts (brackets, boxes, adapters). I cannot easily modify organic shapes like detailed character figures or scanned statues, as these require sculpting software.

Do you modify organic shapes like characters, miniatures, or statues?
o. I specialize in functional mechanical parts (brackets, enclosures, adapters). I do not edit organic meshes (figures, faces, animals) as these require digital sculpting, which is different from CAD design.
What is the difference between "Simple Modification" and "Reverse Engineering"?
"Modification" involves minor adjustments like scaling or resizing holes on the existing mesh. "Reverse Engineering" means I manually reconstruct the part from scratch in CAD to give you a perfectly clean, editable STEP file.
Can you convert my STL file into a STEP file?
Yes! This is my "Reverse Engineering" service. I use the STL as a reference to build a precise solid CAD model (STEP), which is compatible with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and CNC machining.
