What's the difference between Airtable and Softr, and why do I need both?
Airtable is your database — where your data lives and is organized. Softr is the web app layer that turns that data into a real website, portal, or dashboard your team or clients can log into and use. I build both so they work together seamlessly.
I already have an Airtable base — can you just build the Softr app?
Yes. If your Airtable database is already set up, I can connect it directly to Softr and focus purely on the front-end build. I'll review your base structure first to flag anything that might limit the app.
Can you build a client portal where customers log in and see only their own data?
Yes, this is one of my most common projects. I set up user permissions in Softr so each client only sees information relevant to them, using Airtable as the data source.
Do I need any coding knowledge to manage this after it's built?
No. Both Airtable and Softr are no-code platforms. I'll also walk you through how to update records, add users, and manage the app after delivery.
