FAQ
What is Shopify Online Store 2.0 and why should I upgrade?
Shopify OS 2.0 is an upgraded theme architecture that allows full customization using sections and blocks on all pages, not just the homepage. It offers better performance, flexibility, and future-proof features. Upgrading gives you full control without relying on page builders and developers.
Do you need access to my store?
Yes. I need temporary collaborator access (preferred) or a staff account. I never ask for your password. See buyer checklist for required permissions.
Do you offer to create dynamic section or block for Shopify store?
Absolutely! I do implement dynamic section or block to meet your business needs and more flexibility about maintenance.
Will you change my store design and look?
No, I’ll keep your current design identical unless you request design changes. The upgrade updates theme structure to OS 2.0 and adds new blocks while preserving visuals.
Will my live store be affected during the upgrade?
No. I work on a duplicate/staging theme or create a safe backup first. I deploy changes only after your approval to avoid downtime or customer impact.
What if apps or custom code conflict with OS 2.0?
I’ll run compatibility checks and fix simple conflicts. Complex third‑party app issues may need app developer input; I’ll report findings and recommend next steps.
Do you optimize site speed?
Yes, Standard and Premium include performance improvements (image checks, remove render-blocking assets, lazy load suggestions). Premium includes deeper code cleanup and advanced optimizations. The updated theme and AI-generated blocks are fully responsive and tested across all modern device browser
What are Shopify Magic blocks and do you create custom content?
Shopify Magic blocks are AI-generated theme blocks that produce Liquid, HTML/CSS/JS, and JSON schema from text prompts. I create and style these blocks; you provide prompts or I craft them for you.
Can you work with custom or heavily modified themes?
Yes, but complexity may increase delivery time and price. Message me first with your theme name and store link so I can confirm compatibility and estimate effort.
Do you offer post-delivery support?
Yes, I provide post-delive support for all packages to ensure everything runs smoothly.
