We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to input, update, and maintain information on company databases and computer systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in typing, data processing, and maintaining confidentiality with a high degree of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer databases or files.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data before entry.
- Review data for errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output.
- Maintain and update database systems and archives.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
- Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Scan and print documents as needed.
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
- Fast typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and online forms.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and databases.
- Good command of English, both oral and written.
