I will accelerate your python code with native extensions

About this gig
Is your Python code too slow, but rewriting everything in another language is out of the question? You don't have to.
I specialize in taking the 5% of your code that eats 95% of the runtime and compiling it into a native extension while the rest of your codebase stays pure, comfortable Python. Your scripts keep calling the same functions with the same signatures; they just run 10x, 50x, sometimes 100x faster.
How it works:
- You send me your code (or a representative sample) and tell me what's slow.
- I profile it and show you exactly where the time goes before you pay for anything beyond the diagnosis.
- I rewrite the bottlenecks as a compiled extension with modern, safe systems code, wrapped so Python never notices the difference.
- You get a benchmark report proving the speedup, plus all source code.
This is a great fit for:
- Data processing loops that crawl over millions of rows
- Custom parsers, file format readers, protocol decoders
- Numerical kernels NumPy can't express efficiently
- Anything CPU-bound that's stuck behind the GIL

FAQ
Will my existing code need to change?
In almost all cases, no. The native extension exposes the same function names and signatures. Your import line changes, nothing else.
How much faster will it actually be?
It depends on the workload. CPU-bound loops typically see 10–100x. String/parsing workloads usually 5–30x. I/O-bound code (network, disk) won't benefit much — and I'll tell you upfront if that's your situation. Every package includes a benchmark so the number is measured, not promised.
What do you use under the hood?
A compiled systems language (Rust, via PyO3/maturin) with Python bindings. It produces a normal installable package — your deployment process stays pip install.
Do I need to install anything new on my machine?
No. You receive pre-built wheels or a one-command build script. End users of your code only need Python.
Is my code kept confidential?
Absolutely. Nothing you send is shared, published, or reused. Happy to work under your NDA.
What if the speedup is smaller than expected?
The Basic package exists precisely for this — I profile first, and if the realistic gain is small, I'll tell you before you commit to a bigger package.
