Can you convert STL or 3D scan files into editable SolidWorks models?
Yes. I can reconstruct suitable STL, OBJ and 3D scan data into SolidWorks CAD models. Feature-based editing depends on the geometry, mesh quality and selected package.
Will my STEP file be fully editable?
A STEP file typically preserves solid geometry, but not the original SolidWorks feature history. For genuinely editable parametric geometry, choose a package that includes CAD reconstruction.
Can you reverse engineer machine parts from photos?
I can reconstruct certain mechanical parts from photos when reliable dimensions and sufficient views are provided. Photos alone generally cannot establish every hidden feature or tolerance.
Can you provide manufacturing drawings?
Yes. I can provide 2D technical drawings in PDF format. Additional tolerances or manufacturing specifications should be agreed before ordering.
What files do you need to start?
Please provide your STL, OBJ, scan or reference images, plus the known dimensions, intended use, required file formats and any critical tolerances. I will review the scope before confirming the package.
