FAQ
What do you need to start?
Tell me about your brand, where you will use the font and the style you want. Include visual references, your required characters and a few sample words. A written style description is fine if you do not have references.
Is this an installable font or a logo design?
This service delivers an installable font in TTF and OTF formats. You can type with the characters included in your package. A finished logo, icon or brand identity package is not included.
What is included in the Basic package?
Basic includes a custom uppercase alphabet A-Z, numbers 0-9, a space and 10 agreed punctuation marks in one style. It does not include a separately designed lowercase alphabet. Choose Standard if you need both uppercase and lowercase.
Can you design a font from my lettering or handwriting?
Yes, I can use your own lettering or handwriting as the starting point. Send clear samples before ordering so I can assess the missing characters and complexity. Connected scripts and complex lettering may need a custom offer.
Does Premium support every language?
No. Premium includes up to 30 agreed Latin accented characters. Please send your target languages and exact character list before ordering. Other writing systems and larger character sets need a separate quote.
How do revisions work?
One revision is one consolidated round of feedback on the agreed design. It can cover letter shapes, proportions or spacing. A new style direction, extra weight or characters beyond the package are additional work.
Can I use the font commercially?
Commercial use of the original delivered font in your brand materials is included. Tell me if you need app or game embedding, font redistribution or specific ownership terms so these can be stated clearly in the order before work begins.
Are editable source files and extra weights included?
Each package includes one style and the listed exported font files. Editable font project files, extra weights, italics and variable fonts are not included. Please message me for a custom offer.
Can you copy a font from a reference image?
References help communicate the mood and direction. I develop original letterforms for your brief. If you want an existing font modified, send the file and permission to modify it so I can review the request separately.
Will the font work in my software?
TTF and OTF files can be installed in applications that support custom fonts. Uploading fonts to online platforms depends on their features and your account. Tell me which software you use so the delivery can be checked for that workflow.
