What's the difference between React Email and traditional HTML emails?
React Email lets me write emails in React and Tailwind, then compiles to HTML that works across all email clients. Cleaner code, easier to maintain, no fighting with table layouts from 2003. Same end result, much better developer experience for you and your team.
Will my emails render correctly in Outlook?
Yes. React Email auto-generates Outlook-compatible fallbacks for every component. I test manually in Outlook.com, Gmail, Apple Mail with dark mode, and Yahoo before delivery. If you find any rendering issues after delivery, I fix them at no cost within your revision window.
I am using Mailchimp or SendGrid — can you migrate me to Resend?
Yes. Resend is typically 30-50% cheaper at equivalent volume with much better developer experience. I help set up your domain in Resend and migrate templates. The migration is straightforward - Resend was built to be easier than Mailchimp from the start.
Do I need to be on Next.js for this to work?
No. React Email compiles to plain HTML that works with any backend (Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, Go) via Resend REST API. Next.js just makes integration nicer because we use same React patterns. If you are on a different stack, I will adapt the integration to fit your backend.
Do I need a Resend account already?
Not necessarily. You will create one before delivery — takes 5 minutes, free tier covers 100 emails per day and 3000 per month. You will also need DNS access for your sending domain to verify SPF, DKIM, DMARC records. Premium package includes full setup guide for this.
What about marketing emails and newsletters?
I focus on transactional emails - welcome series, receipts, password resets, notifications. For complex marketing campaigns with segmentation (Mailchimp or Klaviyo territory), other sellers are better suited. I can build single well-designed newsletters as one-off templates.
Will I get a video walkthrough of the templates?
I deliver detailed written documentation with screenshots instead of video - most clients find it more useful (searchable, easy to skim, simple to share with team). Each delivery includes README, USAGE.md, and rendered previews of every template in light and dark mode.
What if I need more templates after delivery?
Two options. One-off: order an additional template ($40 each) anytime. Ongoing: $50 per month retainer covers up to one new template per month plus minor edits to existing ones. Most clients use the retainer model after the initial set is built and ready.
