What do you need to start developing my product?
A sketch, reference image, dimensions, existing files or a written explanation of your idea is enough to get started. The more information you can provide about the product's function and requirements, the better.
Can you work from just an idea or rough sketch?
Yes. You don't need an existing CAD model. I can help turn a rough idea, sketch or technical problem into a functional product design.
Will the product be designed for manufacturing?
Yes. Manufacturing is considered throughout the design process. Depending on the project, the design can be developed for methods such as 3D printing, CNC machining or other suitable manufacturing processes.
What files will I receive?
Depending on your package, you can receive editable CAD source files and common formats such as STEP, SLDPRT, SLDASM, STL and PDF documentation.
Can you also create a physical prototype?
Yes, depending on the product. Prototype manufacturing can be discussed separately after or during the design process. Please contact me for a custom quote.
Can you help with small-series production?
Yes. For suitable projects, I can help take the product beyond the design stage and discuss prototype or small-series production. Contact me to discuss quantities, materials and manufacturing requirements.
