Most WordPress backups are never tested. You find out they don't work at the exact moment you needed them most.
I set up and manage WordPress security and backups for your site using Shield Security and a MainWP dashboard, the same stack I use to manage client sites myself. Automatic updates, malware monitoring, and off-site backups that don't rely on your web host.
In the 5 years I've used Shield Security, it's never let me down. I'm running a full personal restore test soon, results and all, and I'll update this listing with exactly what I find.

Why annual instead of monthly?
My own Shield Security licenses are billed annually, so I pass that straight through, no surprise charges along the way, just one fixed amount per year.
I have more than 10 sites, or I manage sites for multiple clients. Can you still help?
Message me first. For larger numbers, or agencies managing multiple end clients, I work with a separate, custom structure. These packages are for individual sites or a single practice, not meant to be split across multiple clients of the same agency.
What happens if my site gets hacked anyway?
Shield Security's backups are stored independently of your website, with no login credentials stored on the site itself. If your site is compromised, the backup stays reachable outside of it.
Can I add more sites later?
Yes, you can upgrade to a higher package at any time. The price is then prorated for the remaining term.
Is restoring a backup a one-click process?
Not yet, and I'd rather tell you that upfront than let you assume otherwise. A real restore means retrieving the backup and applying it through your hosting environment, not a button in a dashboard.
